Last week, I was invited to speak at the monthly meeting of the newly formed Cape Fear Sons and Daughters of Italy Lodge 3022.
With more than 50 people in attendance,the evening was filled with community, tradition, and incredible energy as they gathered to honor St. Joseph and celebrate their Italian heritage. Their generous members donated canned goods, pasta, cereal, and much more for our guests. A truly heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed and who welcomed me with open arms; what a loving group of people! Your generosity truly reflects the spirit of service and charity that St. Joseph’s Day represents.
