You Can be a Part of the Life-Sustaining Ministry of The Sister Isaac Center at St. Mary Basilica
“When going through such an unexpected and turbulent time as a single mother of three young children, it was wonderful to be treated compassionately. ”
For over 40 years
The Sister Isaac Center
has served people in need throughout the area — and we do it with love and compassion, while preserving their God-given dignity. It might be financial help for rent or utilities so a senior citizen stays secure in their home. A layette for a new baby. A walker to help a disabled person remain mobile. Food and clothing for a family experiencing hardship. A tuition payment to teach a new skill. Help with car repair so a person can get back to work. Household furnishings for a person who had been homeless. Funeral expenses, crushing medical and dental bills, and more.
We’ve all faced those rough times in our lives when we didn’t know where to turn for help. The Sr. Isaac Center is here to help meet those basic human needs for all our guests. We offer a hand up to anyone who comes through our door.

We are the bridge between those who are in need and those who want to help.

Who We Are
Our 130 compassionate volunteers work to ensure no one in our community goes without basic human needs.

Who We Serve
Struggling single moms, senior citizens on fixed incomes, the homeless and disabled, families in need of food, clothing and household furnishings. And so many more of our neighbors!

How I Can Help
Your donation keeps lights on, prevents evictions, puts food on the table. Your donation tides people over the rough patches in life and allows them to live with dignity.
Your one-time or monthly gift
allows us to meet immediate, critical human needs.
Every contribution brings hope, dignity, and relief to someone in our community.
